Autumn

September has all the best features of the Summer without the crowds. Even walking the most popular routes you will feel as though you’re away from it all. The forest turns the full spectrum of magical Autumn colours. The high mountain crags start to fill in with fresh snow contrasting against deep blue skies. If you’re very lucky you’ll see the snow-line drop down the mountain. October and November are even quieter with crisp frosty mornings, snow may even fall in the valley.
