We decided it was time to update our website and make a few enhancements.

The new website has a cleaner look and is now compatible with tablets and smartphones to make your viewing experience fantastic no matter which device you use.

I rent a lot of places all over the world and this was by far the easiest, smoothest and most efficiently organised rental I’ve had yet – your information and communication is second to none – very confidence inspiring which is obviously important when using sites like holiday rentals, owners direct etc.

I’m really struggling to think of anything you could improve on but perhaps the directions for the last 100 yards once you arrive at the end of the Chemin de Champraz – we arrived quite late and it was snowing so we struggled in the dark to locate the Dame Anglais building as many of them look alike. I may not have read the instructions properly to be fair!

Thanks again – we would certainly return if we come back to Chamonix and I’d recommend you to anyone else going there.

Hi Chris and Liz

We had a fantastic time at your Appartment. It was lovely and would 100% recommend your Appartment to any one.

The views were amazing. We all had such fun walking in to town, we should have brought ice skates as well.

We found the place easily and the parking was great. All in all we had a great time and thank you for letting us share your house for a week and I hope you feel we looked after it.

The lady who met us was great and extremely helpful and answered all our questions showing us how the Appartment worked and where everything was. Thanks for the welcome pack too it was very nice.

We will be in touch when we next return to Chamonix, once again thank you for sharing us your home.

We decided not to risk the fun and chaos of fireworks in the town centre, normally a must do if you’re in Cham at New Year.

Instead we walked few hundred yards from the apartment and sat by the lake taking in the free firework display across the valley from a safe distance……magic.

Okay, to be fair it is October and although we’ve been in shorts and t-shirts this week i think its a bit chilly for a dip in Lac Passy. However, in the summer months this is where we all go to cool off.

Its about 20 minutes drive from the apartment.

October in Chamonix – Simply Stunning!

Every month I think, yes this is my favourite month of the year in chamonix…..then the next one comes along and I proclaim that “This is my favourite month”

Each season is so wonderful its hard to pick a favourite. That said Autumn comes close.. the colours, sunny and often very warm days, the snow-line creeping down the mountain, everywhere is so quiet and the anticipation of the skiing and boarding to come…..yes October is definitely one of my favourites.

The picture above was taken a couple of days ago, we had a long walk in just t-shirts. Simply stunning.
